The Great Disney Vinyl Collection

Here are three Disney vinyl albums I would love to add to my collection! These are just a few of the awesome designs created by a graphic designer named Guillaume Cote. I'm not able to read his web site, but it looks like this a designer who is a huge Disney fan and has created an entire catalogue of faux Disney vinyl albums. You can check out all of this work on his web site. If only these actually existed!

Blanca Nieves Y Los Siete Enanos

This is the Spanish version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs from Chile,  1966 [STC-9001-X].
I love the cover artwork which manages to get Snow White, the Prince, the seven dwarfs and the woodland creatures all in one great scene.
Something that makes this album a little different is that the cover is just a folded piece of cardboard. The top and bottom of the cover is not sealed like a normal album jacket. This one can just be folded open. The inside is completely blank.

Le Carnaval Des Animaux

While going through the records at a local thrift shop, I found this nice addition to my collection. It caught my eye because of the odd colour of the Disneyland Record logo on the top right corner. When I had a look at the cover I realized it was a French album from Walt Disney Music of Canada Ltd.

Mickey Mouse Club 10 inch

I stopped by a downtown record shop this weekend to pick up some concert tickets and to my surprise found they have a small dedicated Disney section of records. They had lots of the current picture discs and a few other odds and ends, including this one which I didn't even know existed. Luckily for me they had 5 or 6 of this one and the price was reduced from $29 down to $9, so it was a no brainer purchase for me! I love the front, and when I turned it over, the back was just as retro awesome as the front. It was filed under 'Record Store Day', but I do not see anything on the album referring to Record Store Day. It does have the DisneyMusicEmporium.com site listed on it.

Tracks include "Mickey Mouse March" and "Mickey Mouse Club Alma Mater".
